(Review by Sloof)

With appearances on the two biggest metal festivals in Denmark (Copenhell and Aalborg Metal Festival), three well-received EPs, multiple tours abroad and support slots for Aborted, HateSphere and Trigger The Bloodshed, this band has marked themselves as a well-respected band in the Danish underground scene. The next step that they are going to take is the leap of destiny: the release of their first full length album, called ‘Watchers’.

9 songs of total mayhem and a duration of 43 minutes should be enough to result that Bill Boy In Poison is a flock of hungry wolves coming your way! Production is done by the almighty Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epysode, Mercenary, Týr, Pretty Maids…), so the sound, mixing and mastering is top-notch! The music of Billy Boy In Poison is a mix of Death Metal with a lot of Hardcore influences and Metalcore. Vocalist Steven Borgwardt is growling, snarling, screeching and shrieking while the musical bombing shows no pity.

Bill Boy In Poison is a band that has no rest for the wicked as this 5 piece death squadron is ready for landing. There is also a video shot of the song ‘Corrupted Into Slaves’, and if you visit the You Tube Channel you will notice that this band is pretty wild on a stage. Every member is banging like it’s their last show, while vocalist Steven Borgwardt is goading the mob. Albeit not my personal musical style, I have respect for this band as they bring their music with passion and dedication and believe in their own goal, whether you like it or not.
