(Review by Officer Nice)

I donít need a cure for the common Metal! Or what are these guys from Nashville talking about? Itís rather bizarre that a new band dares to speak out this sentence. After more than thirty years in Metal I have heard a lot, good stuff and bad stuff but the fact Metal sounds ĎPoppyí has nothing to do with it. But letís give the band a fair chance, letís see what they can offerÖ

Blood Culprit seems to be a band that offers some Metal heading between Thrash and Death Metal. A modern kind of band that found their inspiration in formations like Devildriver and Kataklysm, also old school Metal heroes Testament.

Blood Culprit creates a wall of sound to impress the listener. A better and louder production would have been more impressive but this is a debut, so donít worry. Musical wise Blood Culprit doesnít impress me at all. Aggression isnít the ultimate key word to make good Metal! The vocals are really annoying me and I donít like what I hear at all. This EP will not cure people! You donít hear me say this band is bad, they arenít and their will to create pure Metal is a bonus but musical wise more is demanded! Bands like Testament also create pure aggression, but the difference is big! The fact that I was pleased this review was finished means a lot.
