(Review by Officer Nice)

From out of Germany I received three albums from this band. It’s not that easy to make three reviews at the same time from a band. Let’s start with the first album I grabbed out of this package, “Brutality of life”, dated 2008.

Sons Of Sounds seems to be a trio and on the Internet I’ve read this is some kind of demo. Well, a very professional demo if you would ask me. It’s a full digi-pack, including anything a professional album demands. Let’s go to the music and let me tell you Sons Of Sounds produces some hard hitting Metal with some kind of a Rock’n Roll sound. It’s got a modern touch yet sounds like old times.  I hear good rocking riffs and interesting leads all over.

Sons Of Sounds doesn’t produce the most complicated music at all, it’s more Motörhead meeting AC/DC with a blink of an eye to bands like Soundgarden, a bit Pantera and even System Of A Down. These youngsters sound professional at least and I suppose the band is a true live band. I can’t say the songs keep on playing in my mind but on the other hand this isn’t the kind of CD you turn off after a few songs. It’s a pleasure listening to it and the vocals of Roman “Morales” Beselt are playing an important role in it. No, he’s no exceptional singer but he fits this kind of tunes very well. The band did its best to sound varied and tracks like “Master Of The Stone”, “Are You Ready” and “Colonel # 1” are great to hear. Best track according to me was "Welcome To My War", probably because it holds the most influences of the good old times. The band wants to add melodic lines into their songs, which works without taking me by the throat… A band with potential, no doubt.

The production on this one isn’t from the highest level and is a point to work on but fans of classical Metal with a modern touch should give this one a shot. I should say to check them out at but you’ll get a direct link to their Facebook page
